Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account information. Your name and email address when you register. A phone number and profile photo if you add them. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Property and listing information. Details, photos, location, pricing and availability you submit when you list a property.
• Booking and transaction information. Dates, booking and inquiry records, payment status and reference codes. Card details are entered with our payment provider and never reach us.
• Messages. Inquiries and messages you send through the platform.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, searches, device and browser information.

2. How we use it

• To run the platform, and to show you your bookings, listings and earnings.
• To process bookings, inquiries, payments, refunds and payouts.
• To send transactional email such as confirmations, receipts and listing decisions.
• To answer you when you contact us.
• To improve how the platform works.

3. Listing information and marketing

A listing is published to be seen. Its photos, description, location, features and price are visible to anyone browsing kerrpoint, and we may use them to promote the property on our website, on social media and in advertising, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Photos are re-encoded when you upload them, which removes embedded camera data including GPS coordinates. The location shown on a listing is the one you enter, not one taken from your photos.

Your personal contact details are not published on a listing. They are shared with a client only when a booking or inquiry connects you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it with:

• Property owners and clients, when a booking or inquiry connects you, so the two of you can complete it.
• ModemPay, our payment provider, to take card payments. They handle your card details under their own privacy policy.
• Supabase, which hosts our database, file storage and authentication.
• Resend, which delivers our email.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored with Supabase. Access is controlled by row level security policies, so an account can read and change only its own records and what it has been granted. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us or stored in our database.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the platform working. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account exists. Booking, inquiry and payment records are kept after that as financial records, because we need them to account for transactions that already happened. Listings you remove stop being public but stay in our records.

8. Your choices

• You can view and edit your profile information at any time.
• You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• You can ask us to delete your account. Transaction records we are required to keep will remain, and we will tell you what stays.
• You can decline analytics cookies without losing access to anything.

9. Children

kerrpoint is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Other sites

We link to other websites, including WhatsApp and our payment provider. What they do with your information is covered by their own policies, not this one.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be posted on the platform.
